Eine eiserne Kassette

Following the traces of Jürgenssen’s path through the final years of World War II (from Hungary to Italy, and later denazification in Upper Austria, where he got married), Olger visits sites and speaks to witnesses from the period when Olaf Jürgenssen was part of the German war crimes, even if his photos seem to suggest that he was there in all innocence. In a video interview before his death his grandfather remains vague and deflects questions. Nils Olger’s pointed conclusion from his somber and calm film about history, memory and denialism: “What will I remember of my grandfather? Negatives.” (Bert Rebhandl)

Harry G - #HarrydieEhre

The show #HarrydieEhre is the second programme of the successful comedy breakthrough Harry G and was recorded live in winter 2017 at the sold-out Circus Krone in Munich. Wannabes and trends are the target of his programme, he dissects them without regard for losses as passionately as unabashedly and does not stop at his audience in the process. Is brunch a man's job? Meat or vegetables? Single or in a relationship? Which dating portal? Harry G answers all these questions and many more openly, honestly and... very subjective. If you think you're cool because you own rollerblades, run to theme parties in white clothes or post your food on Facebook, you're wrong: Here he will be proven wrong.

Blickwechsel - Perspectives on German volunteers

Every year more than 3000 mostly young Germans travel to Africa in order to complete a voluntary service of several months in an organization or in a project. The motivation of the travelers is different. It is mostly their personal experiences, stories and reports that shape the public image of volunteer services in Africa. But what do the guides on site think about the coming and going of the German guests? What visible and invisible traces do volunteers leave behind in the projects from the perspective of people living on site? In the perspective-rich documentation, people in South Africa, Ghana and Gambia describe their perspectives and experiences with German volunteers. An exciting film about the diversity and complexity of encounters in context of voluntary service.

Biotope

Life in Neuperlach, a Munich suburb, is quaint. It is a safe neighborhood, where people know and greet each other. Everybody has their own backyard; single car garages are lining the narrow footpaths and everything is groomed. But for some time now that peacefulness is troubled, because refugees are supposed to move in next door. As some of the residents are afraid of the noise to be expected, they are putting up a noise protection wall. Biotope shows the life of the locals and gets to the bottom of the reason for building that wall.
