Looking for a challenge, Emi, an impetious gamer enlists her pal Hiroshi to illegally hack her VR game console together with her AI device so that she can play in a fully AI created VR game world. At first it appears to be a typical RPG (role playing game) set in medieval Japan with plenty of action, but bizarre events begin to take place, and she gets separated from Hiroshi. Will Emi prevail and escape with her life or does the AI have other plans...?
Tobishima used to be a prosperous sea transportation hub in the Sea of Japan, but now it is a quiet island with a small and aging population. The only junior high school student in the island will graduate this year, and his school, Tobishima Elementary and Junior High School, will be closed at the end of this school year. This film captures the daily lives of the various people living on Tobishima and follows the activities of those who are struggling to maintain the community and connect the island to the future while facing the harsh reality of the situation.
Right there in that little gap between fantasy and reality, me and you, movies and videos, concrete and abstract, is that nice cozy space.

Filmed February/March 2019 on a single 40 year old cartridge of Kodachrome Super 8 and hand-developed in Caffenol. The film was heavily fogged, but there are some (real) images.

What about sex As the woman, must she submit to the man? How does it feel to him? What kind of relationship is that anyway? Is it Friendship Plus or Real Love? Both try to communicate with the other, to understand him while remaining true to themselves.

ANGERME Kamikokuryo Moe Birthday Event 2020 (アンジュルム 上國料萌衣バースデーイベント2020) was Kamikokuryo Moe's 21st birthday event. It took place on October 26, 2020 with two shows at LANDMARK HALL. In compliance with government policy due to the coronavirus pandemic, cheering, crowding, standing, and closeness in the venue were prohibited, and wearing masks was required to enter. From October 26 to October 27, 2020, a recording of the event was digitally distributed to fanclub members who apply.

In March 2000, seven Deaf Zainichi-Koreans file suit in the Kyoto District Court protesting unreasonable discrimination that foreign nationals above a certain age and who have a disability are not able to receive disability pensions. Through interviews with the plaintiff and supporters, and past documentaries, the director brings us face to face with historical and political issues of “disability” and “ethnicity”. Produced and screened at Yokohama Triennale 2020.
