Life is filled with countless round-table predicaments, class reunions, casual drinks with friends, or company team-building events, these are round-table dilemmas wrapped in desires. Everyone is part of it, both as creators and victims of these predicaments.

The ubiquitous loudspeakers, television propaganda and slogans in towns and villages are constantly instilling the will of the powers that be and the alienation of thinking in the minds of the people. In 2022, a highway was about to cut across my hometown. I documented the unearthing of graves and interviewed villagers about their memories of the dead. Their narrative enables me to sketch the portraits for the deceased. As I gaze upon them, they seem to question the path and the choices lying ahead of us.
