5-month-old rescue kittens (and blood sisters) Clementine and Sage react to the first ever bout of heavy rain they’ve experienced. The heavy rain makes their typical boisterous and playful actions screech to a halt, as they begin to mirror the rain’s dreary, lull-like nature in their own temperaments. Ch1: The film goes from the inside of a mixing bowl catching dripping water. The kittens are hesitant at first, but soon both stare out the window (Ch2), edited as indistinguishable from one another, as they both partake in the same curiosity towards the rain. Ch3 sees the kittens find peace with their new discovery, and rest, while the world itself moves on - much like how we exit from the bowl, and end up becoming attached to the cats, the end of Ch3 sees us attached to a window, peering in, making audiences believe Ch4 would be from the perspective of the world entire. Each chapter becomes more consequential, larger, and less isolated, as if becoming privy to the world.
