Slow Attack

Nik, a released prisoner who started writing in prison, wants to leave his past behind him, but refuses to contact his former girlfriend and her family. Under the name of his jail buddy Henry, he moves in with his pen pal - who has never seen him - and is always watched suspiciously by their roommate. Nik began writing in prison and now seeks contact with the literary culture, even though he feels disgusted by the pompous fuss of this society. He is not without talent and works on a novel in which he minutely describes the abduction of an industrialist. Henry gets shot at the prison breakout and visits Nik to get help from him. He likes his novel plot and wants to put it into action.

Tropiafric - Grüße aus der Wildnis

A humorous and ironic film that draws attention to the problems of long-distance tourism and European arrogance: A German travels through Africa (Hotel Diana Beach, Mombasa, Kenya); his superficial and clichéd commentary, dictated into a cassette recorder, contrasts with the beauty of the landscape and the fascination of the foreign continent, which cannot be captured by superficial brochure terms. A young tourist who throws herself wholeheartedly into the African adventure succeeds in developing a greater understanding.

Les Jeux de société

Cut into six parts, this film Rohmer gives us the opportunity to discover a foultitude of pledges to be made between friends (the famous kiss to the Capucine or that of hare that, not dog , I give you pictures), hairy anecdotes on the Colin Maillard with small children, verbal exercises of high fly such as I love my lover by A. where you have to fiddle the brain to find words ... In "a", the game of the Fly where poor Alexandra Stewart finds herself surrounded by actors whom Rohmer had to find in a retirement home, the game of Kings and Queens adapted from the unavoidable Game of Robin and Marion d ' Adam de la Halle, who should bring back good memories to friend Gols (I, who in my time was a demi-god in old French, I had to poke a word out of twelve ... everything is lost, by God ) Or the mega bamboche charades game with a Pascal Greggory under acid

Captain Berlin - Retter der Welt

The Captain Berlin character was created by Buttgereit in the early 1980s and first appeared in his Super 8 short film CAPTAIN BERLIN - RETTER DER WELT (CAPTAIN BERLIN SAVES THE WORLD). In this film, Buttgereit himself plays Captain Berlin in a yellow jumpsuit with red briefs worn on the outside, capped off by a Spiderman mask and a repurposed flag worn as a cape. Clearly the product of a punk sensibility slamming head-on into a love of the 1960s "Batman" teevee show. The film is funny to watch but low on stuff like "production values," "plot," and "sense."

Delta: un treno nel cuore del Sud

Filmed for Rai 3 and aired on two evenings on 29 March and 5 April 1986, A train in the heart of the south is a journey that follows the "marginal" railways of the south and the marginalized who are found along them. Filmmakers and travelers Anna Lajolo and Guido Lombardi reveal the confined and marginalized Italy that has nothing in common with the glossy images of the 1980s. As always with the couple of filmmakers born on the wave of underground cinema, the filmed space is a conflictual space, which "fists with reality".
