The artificial intelligence Popo begins to believe he can experience emotions and ask questions about the world. Bug

Hana, who works as a labourer in a food processing plant, toils hard in keeping with the company’s motto: “Just keep working.” After finishing a gruelling day’s work, she returns home to the small apartment where her grandmother is sleeping. Even though the house is cramped and dark and has mould growing on the walls, it seems to be the only thing that matters to Hana. Bug is a short film that examines the harsh economic reality facing the younger generation of today and uses fantasy as a device to comment on their circumstances.

In the mountainous region of Gangwon-do on South Korea’s eastern coast, wildfires, both small and large, recur year after year. In the spring of 2023, a wildfire that broke out in Gyeongpo, Gangneung, reduced 551 homes to ashes in the span of a few hours. This film tells the story of a family who lost their home in that fire. After the fire, the family of three moves to a village where their great-aunt lives. In this strange place, their days are tangled with worry, emotional scars, and an uncertain future. The mother struggles with insomnia, while the father tries to adapt, learning to cook at great-aunt's restaurant. Their young son, who has just started elementary school, begins to make up a story in his mind - a little tale born of mixed emotions and lingering anxiety.

Eden

I, Kang Ho-joon, live in a city as a very ordinary person. I drive a taxi. Every day is meaningless to me and my few other hobbies are flying kites and squeezing my brain for words to write a novel with. I've been having bloody nightmares for some time and one time I picked up a strange woman. She says she's a half-witted revolutionist but won't say who she really is. I give her a name: Hye-mi, and start my relationship with her in the ruptured life of mine. I find a new meaning to life and I try to enjoy her stories, love and pain she carries. For her. However, she disappears on me without a linger and a year after that, I get a postcard from Hye-mi without a return address. I had forgotten about her, but I began pulling out memories of her once again. Was there an Eden for these two people who didn't know they were related? Where was their Eden?

Spring in the Deep Mountain

In a farm, there live a master Dae-Hyeon, Ji-Ae, and a mute Ka-Ya whom they love like a daughter. Also, there is Hyeop who teaches them how to ride a horse once every week. One day, Ka-Ya comes to realize what is sex on the moment of witnessing the scene in which Hyeop is raping Ji-Ae, and she warns Hyeop to don't do that. Surprised, Hyeop runs after and rapes her, and since then, Ka-Ya falls in love with him. Hyeop is move up by Ka-Ya's sincerity and by the time he comes to feel love for her, their relations is disclosed and Hyeop and Dae-Hyeon fight a duel because of it. Shocked at it, Ka-Ya is recovered to speak again. Later, Hyeop and Ka-Ya leave the house as companions of life.

Home from Home

About three women in search of a home return to South Korea after an absence of more than thirty years. In the 1970s, they left everything behind in order to go to Germany as "guest workers." Although assimilated in their new country, they long for the old one. Now they are able to realize their dream of returning with their German husbands to Dogil Maeul, the German village that has been created for people like them. Situated in a picturesque bay, the village is indeed more German than Germany--there is even whole meal bread and Frankfurter sausages. This is the new-old home to which their sixty something husbands Armin, Willi and Ludwig have come in the hope of spending their remaining years. However, there is still something missing for the three women as they discover it is not so easy to pick up where they left off.
