Doctor Who: The Wedding of River Song Prequel

A digital clock on a computer screen flickers between 05:02:57 PM and 05:02:58 PM. A series of black and white video feeds from security cameras reveal the place to be Area 52. The last shot is of an apparently empty specimen tank. Two soldiers, each wearing an eyepatch, make their way down a corridor, stopping next to a pair of empty tanks nestled into alcoves along the wall. The soldiers check the tanks, report them as secured, then move on. After the soldiers leave, a Silent appears in each tank, alive and awake. Footage from security cameras throughout the base reveal there are at least one hundred and twelve identical tanks, with the implication that all of them contain Silents. Behind a barricaded wooden door in another room containing an ancient Egyptian sarcophagus, a woman in a black suit stands with her back turned to the camera. As the camera zooms in, she turns. It is River Song, with an eyepatch over her right eye. She smiles.

Hotel Paradiso

Monsieur Feydeau has writer's block and he needs a new play, so he takes an opportunity to observe his upper class neighbors of 1900 Paris. There is Monsieur Boniface with hard domineering wife Angelique; also, Monsieur Cotte with beautiful but neglected wife Marcelle. Henri Cotte traces architectural anomalies (mostly "ghost" sounds in the drain pipes) and plans a night at the Hotel Paradiso, which happens to be the chosen romantic rendezvous spot of Marcelle and Monsieur Boniface. One wife, two husbands, a nephew, and the perky Boniface maid, all at this 'by the hour' hotel and consummation of the affair is, to say the least, severely compromised (not the least by a police raid). All of this is under Feydeau's eye, and his play is the 'success fou' of the next season.

Tricky & The Cereal Killers

Set in the 1990s, Tricky begins in a London animation studio run by a husband-and-wife team famous for creating beloved cereal mascots. Their world crumbles when new regulations ban sugary ads targeted at children, effectively cancelling their entire industry overnight. The husband flees to America, leaving behind his wife and their daughter, Maya. Decades later, Maya’s 12-year-old daughter, Charli, discovers a VHS tape of the old commercials. Hoping to connect with the grandfather she’s never met, she uploads digitized clips to TikTok using AI tools. But the experiment goes horribly wrong: her viral videos open a portal between worlds, unleashing the once-cute mascots, now twisted, AI-enhanced monstrosities, into the real world.

Walter: The secret life of a victorian pornographer

The story of the sexual memoirs of a Victorian gentleman who revealed himself as Walter. He documented his liaisons in a frank series of journals which ran to eleven volumes and 1.5 million words, titled 'My Secret Life'. Within the journals he documented details of his liaisons, the names of the women, their social standing, and their conversation. For a century, this material was considered obscene, its publication illegal. Today, however, it's seen as a unique insight into Victorian social and sexual mores, providing valuable information on class, gender, marriage, fidelity and morality. This film looks at the dark life of 'Walter', and examines the way his journals have shaped contemporary understanding of Victorian society. The film also examines the mystery that has surrounded this story - who exactly was 'Walter'? The film asks whether he could have been Henry Ashbee, a wealthy London gentleman who was obsessed with sex and attained a pornographic library of over 15,000 volumes.
