The giant waves are spectacular, but they are also extremely dangerous. They have given the former fishing port a new boom, because the activities of the surfers now attracts tourists in droves to the place even in winter. But accidents with serious injuries occur again and again. The documentary shows how the coastal town is handling the new attraction and how Sebastian Steudtner is preparing for a new record ride on the biggest wave on earth.

During a 10 minute ride, we witness in 2 parallel long-takes the changing rivalries between 3 gangsters and the growing panic of their hostage in the trunk. The kidnappers just have to cross a river to get to the delivery point. But instead of a bridge, a big surprise is waiting for them.

In 2017, in the city of Constance on Lake Constance, Europe’s largest chain of drugstores opened the city’s fifth branch store: more diapers, more toothpaste and more toiletries for the local residents and the consumer tourists from Switzerland. Until the year 2016, the premises were reserved for film culture, this was the location of the former “Scala Film Palace”. When Douglas Wolfsperger returns to the magical site of his cinematic socialization, the public opposition to this pending closure is in full swing. The filmmaker becomes witness to the final rebellion of a dying art house cinema, speaks to passionate film enthusiasts and matter-of-fact city administrators about loss and expansion, the increase in pleasure and trade, intransparent vested interests and advantageous business situations. Inner cities and cultural concepts change – in Constance and everywhere else. But who decides how and for whom?

The bell tower of the Curon church rises from the waters of Lake Resia, in the Venosta Valley in South Tyrol, Italy. It stands as a lonely, silent witness to the horrible tragedy that befell Graun (Curon) and Reschen (Resia) in 1950, when both villages — with their unique natural and cultural landscape — were submerged by the waters of the newly-built Resia dam and water reservoir. Last month, Gzuz released his second solo album, "Wolke 7" (Cloud 7). Just two or three months prior, he was on tour with his entire crew, traveling throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland for the entire month of March. The sheer scale of their success becomes even more apparent when you consider the venues where the five Hamburg natives now perform. They couldn't find a single venue that didn't hold at least 1,000 people. In their hometown, even the local sports arena was too small to accommodate all their fans, so the concert was moved to the Barclaycard Arena. But it's not just the size of the venues that has changed: they're also now wowing audiences with an amazing stage design, which recreates a section of their neighborhood (including a tattoo parlor). We followed the guys to their concerts in Berlin, Bremen, Hamburg, and Hanover and found out where the best hiding places are on the tour bus.
