Lian Sha is an organization that aims to create a nation that mutants can call their own. To obtain more power, their leader Jialouluo (Luo Bin) has been continuously searching for the heart of Pangu. Tian Zhuyan (Lu Yujing), Lie (Yu Haorui) and Yan Liusha (Yu Lei) are three bounty hunters on a mission. They chance upon Jiang Liuer (Cui Can), the little monk whose destiny is tied to the heart of Pangu.

During the process of re-reading all the diaries of the author's childhood, a long forgotten silhouette suddenly emerges out of an old memory. The artist returns to the scene of the memory to search for evidence of her existence. The entire film is rendered by computer software and is filmed in one shot from beginning to end, like a roamer roams about through a dream, where dreamland and one’s memories interweave in fabrication and deviation. This film is an overture from the project Corner of the Park, continuing the work which was done years ago. The project sets out to form a complex labyrinth-style network of narratives regarding memory.

Here in The Worldly Cave (Fán Dòng), the Hakka people have all moved away from the place where generations of their families lived. Before the execution of the new development, all the villages on this land will soon be buried into continuous muck dunes. On the open grounds, there stocked huge piles of second-hand machines which would be resold in the southeastern countries. Estate investigation teams gathered in different groups, were talking about the potential prices of the land. After passing some huge muck dunes, between two higher muck dunes, the hunters built their sheltered pits and bird traps in the air. They tied a bee to a transparent string as it would lead them to the beehives hidden in the cracks. Fishermen even found a source of fish in the swamp that connects the groundwater. The men and women in the giant ferroconcrete caves on the clouds were still chattering about the bullfrogs from lunch.

The film is based on true story which happened in China 80 years ago.
