This is the first in a series of live-action horror films featuring 11 short, 10-minute episodes of gruesome horror stories, ranging from horrifying psychic phenomena to familiar fears.

Yuan begins to tell the story of Tokisada (Shiro) Amakusa, the man who stood up for the people and became venerated as a messiah. This piece consists of two parts, a documentary and a short film. It is a realistic depiction of some girls aiming for their dream to become actresses! The documentary part starts with five girls who want to become actresses taking part in a "Make a movie" project under director Yu Katsumata. This is a real record of the days from the start of lesson until the announcement of the cast. The second half then contains the short film "We don't wanna", as five high school girls who don't want to grow up face anxious days, paths, love, dreams and the future... With all of this in their hearts, the five of them, head off on a "We don't wanna grow up tour". They take a slow train, headed for "paradise". It's only a one day trip, but becomes their battle diary road movie.

Hikari is a newly expectant mother cohabiting with her boyfriend Taro. However, their relationship seems to be on the rocks. The couple has had trouble finding steady employment since graduating from college, and mounting financial problems further strain their relationship. Taro has a secret: he’s been relying on his eccentric aunt Kyoko, who has been acting strangely since losing her husband at a young age. Hikari’s first encounter with Kyoko does not go well, but Hikari visits Kyoko’s home unbeknownst to Taro and is introduced to a world where young women take part in bacchanals. This could spell doom for her relationship with Taro...

Around the same time, the US military began to spray defoliants in Vietnam to deny cover to guerrilla forces. The defoliants, including Agent Orange, were contaminated with the deadly toxin, dioxin. Agent Orange continues to affect the children and grandchildren of those exposed in Vietnam and America to this day.

To escape the oppressive military regime in Burma (Myanmar), Kyaw Kyaw Soe fled to Japan in 1991, leaving his wife behind in his motherland. He spends his days working in a restaurant to make a living and continuing his pro-democracy activities that were banned in Burma. Later, his wife is able to join him in Japan, and the two of them run a Burmese restaurant. Thus begins their new life together in exile. Living in Japan for more than 20 years, Kyaw Kyaw Soe is caught between the wish to be with his family in his own country and the desire to see democracy in his homeland.

Chizu becomes enchanted by the book of botanical specimens that her late grandfather has left and looks for traces of her grandfather that she'd never met. The age-indeterminate nature of Chizu, who smokes, and the astonishing ending have resulted in a unique work that easily crosses many boundaries.

There are surveillance cameras all around us in the streets, but once the dead stare into them they become "Death Cams", projecting things out of this world. In an elevator, at a convenience store and a questionable occurence at an intersection. This horror documentary is a collection of bizarre and frightening videos captured by "surveillance cameras", of which there are said to be more than 4 million all across Japan!
