Founded in the Bronx by Jamaican expat Lloyd ‘Bullwackie’ Barnes in 1976, Wackie’s take on dub and reggae was nothing if not distinctive. Idiosyncratic by nature, and textually lo-fi by necessity, this unique mojo long served as the label’s de facto sonic aesthetic. A protégé of Prince Buster, and a former engineer at Duke Reid’s Treasure Isle label, Barnes’ touch can be felt across dozens of records including sides from Wayne Jarrett, Sugar Minott, Prince Douglas, Horace Andy, Love Joys, and fellow producer, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry. Released in 1981, the following hour-long documentary, Bullwackie In New York, provides a priceless snapshot of the independent label and the culture surrounding it. In order to vote the Minister benevolently, flights, a company sports community should be launched. The founding of a sailing section would be just right. But unfortunately, the Chairman Scheffel continues to be cross. He even wants to use the storage space of the sailors. Only when the minister finds pleasure in the spontaneously organised sailing trip for him, movement comes into the affair.

The young sailor Felix Striebel goes on vacation to a village and visits the fresh grave of "Mother Magda".

In this film, director Rene Feret tells the story of his parents' lives. In 1935 his mother Aline works in her parents' cafe in a mining town in northern France. There, she meets a customer, Pierre and decides she is going to marry him. In a reversal of roles, she is the one who proposes to him, and she also engineers a false pregnancy to persuade her parents to okay the match. With a few stops along the way, the story picks up after the war with the birth of the couple's third son, who is given the name Rene in memory of their first, dead son. Never rich, they achieve some level of financial stability just as their sons are about to head off to the city for college. The love between the two older people is highlighted in a poignant scene as, just as he is about to die, the father shares a champagne toast with his wife in memory of one of their happier moments.

Andrés Reyes is a police inspector of renowned prestige in Barcelona. After his intervention in the kidnapping of a young girl (who is finally freed by her captor), the head of the police force promotes the protagonist to commissioner. In this new role, Andres gets to work on the case of Adela, a transvestite in need of protection. An Arab mobster and a network of traffickers are hatching a plan around his victim. Andres will have a shady relationship with Adela, until the final intervention.

Susan and Jenny are aged 13 and 14 and in care. Jenny's mother has died, Susan hasn't seen hers for years. Both influence the close, stormy relationship that develops between the two girls.

Gino remained a widower with a lively little boy, Duccio; Laura has a daughter Lisa, whom her father Titus adores. The marriage without love of Laura, after the meeting with Gino, goes into crisis. Tito is jealous of his wife who now hates him; so to take revenge on his rival he decided to have a bomb put in Gino's shop.

A woman on a meadow, strolling around, narcisstically involved, wandering. Now and again one can see her breasts through her half-opened shirt. The camera films with a powerful telephoto lens. This idyll is radically destroyed when the woman suddenly looks directly into the camera. There is an immediate cut (the voyeur has been discovered) and the whole sequence of events begins from the beginning again, but each time re-filmed from the last till finally, only a completely abstract, flickering picture remains.

Ritter, Dene, Voss is a stage play by Thomas Bernhard from 1986. After the Premiere the same year at the Salzburger Festspiele under the direction of Claus Peymann, the play was taken into the repertoire of the Burgtheater in Vienna. It was named after the three actors that were to play the roles in the world-premiere: Ilse Ritter, Kirsten Dene and Gert Voss. Thomas Bernhard started off writing it with a note saying "Ritter, Dene, Voss. intelligent actors". The play was inspired by the family of Ludwig Wittgenstein and his (Wittgensteins) nephew Paul, who was a friend of Bernhard and protagonist of his novel "Wittgensteins Nephew" from 1982. This DVD is a 1987 recording from the Akademietheater Vienna with Ilse Ritter, Kirsten Dene and Gert Voss.

Arianna works as an employee in a private broadcaster, Andrea is instead a teacher in an elementary school. The two, both in their thirties, meet at a party and Andrea has managed to conquer Arianna after having courted her in an original and pressing way. The two have been together for the past six years and have become parents of little Francesco, but now their relationship is on the verge of breaking, due to misunderstandings and jealousy scenes that lead them to accuse each other. The couple chooses separation, but living alone after so long is not easy at all.
