I have been living in the United States for a while, and I have often come to think about the country and nationality.

Kim So young directed ‘Women's History Trilogy’ (Koryu: Southern Women, South Korea, I'll Be Seeing Her: Women in Korean Cinema, New Woman: Her First Song) which was screened at many international film festivals including Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival.

Hwang Yong happened to know that Kaneda is the very Japanese who killed his father when he goes to Kaneda's haunt to defeat them in anger. He takes a vengeance on him and gives Independence fund disguised as a buddhist statue back to the Independence Army. He quietly dies after disclosing he is Korean, too.

A photograph taken in 2012 of people on board a boat after swimming at the beach is made into an oil painting in 2013. Finally, the photograph and the painting are made into a film. The director presents parts of artistic pieces by zooming on each work, before showing the entirety later. Under the same title, the photograph and painting convey instants and stories captured in different media, and the film becomes a medium that integrate the other ones based on enriched narrativity.

The plot is based on the relationship of three young people - English teacher Hyeong-sik Lee, dancer Young-chae Park and Hyun-soo Kim, the daughter of a wealthy presbyter. Left an orphan in early childhood, Hyeong-sik was brought up in the house of Master Park. From childhood, Park predicted his daughter Young-chae as Hyeong-sik's wife.
