The Girl that Ramsgate Forgot

Ramsgate. A town of mystery, history, and a very large Wetherspoons. But behind the seaside charm lies a tragedy: They’ve completely forgotten I exist. This is a British mockumentary investigating the disappearance of my own reputation. If you’ve ever felt like a local legend that nobody actually knows, or if you just enjoy awkward British comedy (think Cunk on Earth vibes but with less budget), then please watch this. It's for the history books. Recorded in the style of a BBC documentary." parts of this video were blurred & cut purely for comedy purposes jokes on me not the people in the video.

Thirteen Sector

The Islamic country of Kazakhstan is one of the most unlikely places for football hooliganism to take root. And yet, believe it or not, the scene there is growing rapidly. Final Transmission

Alone aboard a crippled transport drifting through deep space, Commander Elias Walker records what will become humanity’s final message. Earth is gone, and the ship, once a vessel of hope, now carries only failure and silence. As oxygen fades, Elias begins a calm mission log, clinging to duty and procedure. But as systems die around him, the truth surfaces: he isn’t just facing his own death, he’s witnessing the extinction of mankind. In his final moments, the soldier becomes a storyteller, offering not a plea for rescue but a quiet eulogy for the human race. As the ship falls silent, his voice becomes the last echo of humanity, ending with a single, hopeful line: “I hope the stars remember us.”

Miles Jupp: On I Bang

Since Miles' last tour finished, he's been in The Full Monty on Disney+, The Durrells and Why Didn't They Ask Evans? on ITV, as well as a heap of episodes of Frankie Boyle's New World Order and Have I Got News For You. He's made an award-winning radio series and he's published a novel. But for Covid, he would have played a lead at the RSC. Hey ho. Nevertheless he's done a play in the West End and played the Emperor of Austria and Europe in a Ridley Scott film. Yet one sunny day in the middle of all this, he suddenly suffered a brain seizure. This led to the discovery of a tumour the size of a cherry tomato, and a rather pressing need to undergo major neurosurgery. Obviously, one doesn't wish to make a big deal of it, but the experience has left him with a story to tell and a few things that he'd like to share with the room. So that's exactly what he's doing in his new show On I Bang - a tale about surprise, fear, luck, love and qualified medical practitioners."

Children of the Blitz

During The Blitz, the British government had plans in place to evacuate approximately 3.5 million people, but only around 1.5 million left towns and cities for the countryside, with the majority of those being children. Children of the Blitz tells the stories of those who remained at home, often to help their families, or because their parents couldn’t bear to send them away. Through the eyes of survivors who were children at the time, the film will explore how The Blitz contributed towards our sense of national identity and how the ‘Blitz Spirit’ is still held up as a defining characteristic of Britishness today. The film will also examine the starker reality for children whose homes were destroyed, including those who lost parents, and some who were left to fend for themselves - many grew up with their stories unheard.
