Assassin

Hsu Feng plays Shu Mei, the female assassin engaged to Ling Tien-yu, a swordsman played by Tien Peng. As they are fighting against the Mongolian army that is invading China, Shu Mei takes up a suicidal mission to assassinate the Mongolian chieftain. The film begins and ends in a shopping centre in Hong Kong. From there, it will be more a tale about concrete, enormous port warehouses, glazed galleries built for the 2010 universal exhibition, overpopulated tower blocks, the fragments of still recent colonialism...
