Francesc and Francina manage their restaurant as if time had not elapsed since their glory days in the 70s when they were awarded two Michelin stars, even though the customers stopped making reservations a long time ago. Their stubbornness and attachment to their golden era, together with Francesc’s cantankerous personality, make them incredible endearing. This very original documentary covers some of the best Catalan cuisine ever cooked, but it is more about integrity, adherence to principles, refusal to move with the fads and, ultimately, an incredibly zest and passion for life. It is also a wonderful love story.

In gay male slang, "bears" and "cubs" refer to body shapes and age groups; a "bear" usually refers to a hairy plus size man whilst a "cub" is a younger bear. An "otter" is a slimmer hairy man whilst a ‘wolf’ is an older "daddy." A kaleidoscope of gay male bodies, Busby Berkeley-style, SLANGBANG explores the idea of being codified by a set of ocular-centric taxonomic principles that are meant to determine who you are as a person and how you function in a relationship. It reflects on the kinds of role gay men are expected to conform to, where identity becomes something detached or external and how you can fit into that.

TO THE BODY is an ode to resilience, a raw and poetic manifesto of how anxiety and depression is lived in the flesh. From the drama and thriller genre, the short film TO THE BODY tells the story of a woman around her mid 30s who is dealing secretly with anxiety and depression. The entire film is structured in constant loops, reinforced by routine, normal scenarios, close to the single and main character, to denote how centered in her mind she is and how overwhelmingly repetitive her thoughts become. Throughout the film, the main character shows physical symptoms, expressed with contemporary dance gestures, in the search for self-improvement and healing. A call from her body, while feeling and validating every emotion that passes through it, to transcend the mind and come back to the body. This film was made with the main objective of giving shape and body to all the emotions silenced by those people who have suffered and currently suffer from depression or anxiety.
