In the summer of 2018 the artists formerly known as BPO Films documented their trip to an out of state Horror Convention to promote their latest film. This is the harrowing documentation of that trip.

Bryan Charles Kimes has a lot to say, but the power of language escapes him. Lost in a public-school system that does not suit his needs, his parents fight to help him find his voice.

"Go to sleep child, go to sleep now, or the Cuco will come and eat you" cautiously warn parents to their children so they go to sleep on time and behave. "El Cuco" is about the faceless, folkloric monster of Latin American, Spanish and Portuguese cultures that scares disobedient children. Inspired by the aesthetics of old horror movies, it's shot entirely on 16mm black and white film. The Cuco doesn't look a certain way, and it's known by other names depending on the country. Every child who hears the lore imagines it differently so that's why it looks each time it appears on screen.

Sanpietro, the reclusive concierge of an apartment building, has the keys to every unit.
