I videotaped materials collected during fieldwork on the theme of stripes, printed them out on a video printer, and then animated them. This is why the images are grainy. I wasn't satisfied with the final result, so I kept it unreleased until now. In uploading it to YouTube, I selected and re-edited only the cuts that I deemed watchable. I cut out all the unnecessary parts, so the length of the work is quite short. The background music is Japanese festival music.

Part 1 is a drama represents the process of a human life from the childhood when the person first encounters with TV to how TV dominates him while growing up. Part 2 is a documentary of a group of people who banned from TV for a month. This experiment makes us think about what TV means to our life.

In the summer of 1998, the filmmaker went home to Takasaki to film the birth of his brother and sister-in-law's child. Days go by and the child is still to be born.
