The Executioner 3

Henker 3 is mindless no budget fun as our favorite executioner makes his way through the forest killing everything in his path. Henker 3 doesn't take itself seriously and this makes it even more fun. The fact he is mistakened for Karl Berger (killer from Violent Shit) in itself is priceless. Henker chops, decapitates, squashes, cuts, punches, hacks, chainsaws, burns, stomps his way through an endless amount of victims, no one including babies and young children are safe from his killing rampage.

Inside Fold

Given exclusive and unrestricted access, Rebecca Salvadori’s film about East London venue Fold viscerally captures and contrasts the immersive sensory experience of clubbing with intimate behind-the-scenes footage of the unseen hands that shape the environment this unfolds in. The result is a 360 study of of one of contemporary culture’s last remaining temporary autonomous zones: a place where community is forged through music, personal and societal restraints begin to fall, and transformation and even spiritual transcendence become a possibility. Salvadori’s film offers a unique vision into contemporary club culture, exploring the intimacy between ravers and the invaluable team behind the venue.

Bogue

The House of Tupamaras is a group of Voguing performers based in Bogota, Colombia. They are professionally trained dancers that chose to break from the norm and explore the queerness of their bodies and their everyday self-expressions to turn their art form into a political tool, questioning the double standards of Colombian society. They create impromptu happenings, choreographed dances, kiki balls and have performed on stage with groups such as Pussy Riot, among others. Bogue stands for "Bogota Voguing" and seeks to capture the Tupamaras's attitude, athletic musculature, and spunky personalities.

In the Dead Park

A poet explores his world, a small town on the Lower Rhine in the 1970s/80s, with words. His son, a filmmaker, now confronts the written words with contemporary images of that area that look like they come from the past. In this superimposition of ambiguous linguistic images with architectures, monuments, streets and parks a view of the inscribed mentality and history of the former Federal Republic of Germany unfolds. The images are as permeable as Dieter Liewerscheidt's poetry in which philosophical, pop-cultural and personal elements are intermingled.

Lethargy

I realize performances so as to give a place to anemic states of being, to represent them, trangress them and if possible to transmute them. Faced with a society that pushes productivity above all else, there is a body that speaks to us that can become sick, and that we normaly ignore. I choose precarious elements in accordance with an equally precarious everyday existence, resulting in multiple pressures which become exhaustive. Lethargy puts us in a small place, where we feel the multiplicity and weight in our bodies.
