Sisters and the Shrink is based on the real-life story of six ordinary women who face regular everyday problems at both home and work and seek the assistance of a shrink to help channel their thoughts and find a solution to their problems. The hired shrink attempts to listen their drama-filled lives and provide ways for the "sisters" to repair broken relationships, friendships, and family ties. The women seem to always blame others but fail to realize they are part of the problem

When John loses his job, he struggles to maintain emotional and mental stability. Though his supportive wife (Vee) and baby daughter (Glory) find solace in life itself, John settles with severe distress as his way of being. Vee urges a family vacation in Big Sur to get away from the struggles of John's misfortunes at home. During their stay, John wakes up on the beach to discover that Vee and Glory have disappeared. John begins hitchhiking up the highway in pursuit of his lost family, where he finds romance with a roadside gyspy named Salome. As the two progress into San Francisco, John is kept encouraged by thoughts and dreams of his family. Salome uses John's duress to her advantage, seducing him in a hotel room that ultimately awakens John into his life's contentment.

Barely Coping

"Barely Coping" follows the story of Tristan who, as boy, lost his parents in a tragic accident. To hide from reality he pretends to be a panda and lives the rest of his life as one. As an adult Tristan finds himself on his own for the 1st time and is taken in by Audrey and her family who are trying to deal with an unfortunate loss as well. Tristan starts to help the family find their way again and, in doing so, starts to help them accept the reality and cope with the tragic loss that everyone faces.
