SS - Special Stage is based on the popular Japanese manga (comics) "The Special Stage", portraying the life of a once retired and now making it back rally driver Daibutsu.

Japan in the near future is in turmoil after a new type of “Kanie Virus” outbreak in China has landed in the country. The story starts out with Kiyohiko "Piyohiko" Saketome trying to take a band audition. In his way he sees a strange man named Jaguar carrying a big case, which turns out to be holding only a small recorder. Piyohiko tries not to get distracted by him but fails, because when Jaguar plays his recorder, the most beautiful, passionate guitar-like sound comes out of it. After that, Piyohiko gets accepted at a record company and finds out that he is now dorm roommates with Jaguar. Jaguar becomes a teacher and sets up a recorder class at their music school, and Piyohiko ends up in that class instead of the guitar class he wanted.

A theatrical short following the TV mini-series of the same name, shown following the double feature Kamen Rider Kiva: King of the Castle in the Demon World and Engine Sentai Go-onger: Boom Boom! (まっきっきVer., Makkikki Vājon), with the mention that the said movie will come to these very theaters.

Solely in black and white watercolors, the OVA follows a woman who awakes in a deserted town with no memories and no clothing. Unaware of the mansion's reputation, Mason and his wife Mullen move in and hire a young woman, Lockwood, to keep house. Soon after Lockwood's arrival, strange things begin to happen in the household, and it becomes apparent that she is possessed by the spirit of the dead girl, though Mason scoffs at the idea. On death's door and bedridden, Lockwood asks for the same doctor who treated the woman who died 40 years ago. He arrives and treats her. The next morning Lockwood is cured, and it is revealed by the police that the doctor's dead body was found in his carriage hours before the time Mason claims he arrived to see Lockwood. Convinced that not only the ghost of the girl but that of the doctor as well entered his home, Mason finally believes in the supernatural.
