This is the first volume of an image video for Terai Yuki, a virtual CG idol who is active as if she were a real-life talent, appearing in TV shows, commercials, photo books, and CDs. The entire video was shot on location in Hawaii, and the live action and CG are skillfully combined. In the morning, she wakes up in her hotel bed in just a shirt, puts on makeup and heads outside. She cycles along the coastline, sunbathes on Waikiki Beach, and goes to a restaurant in the afternoon. This video follows the golden pattern of an idol image video, and is a delight for fans. The second half of the film also includes behind-the-scenes footage, which shows the staff's enthusiasm for the CG idol "Terayuki," as well as where and how the film was shot on location in Hawaii and how the film was produced.

A yellow circle (the ‘laughing moon’) pops out of a black square, which breaks into several shapes of a puzzle. The shapes move and combine to create characters, vehicles and objects. Although there is no clear narrative as such, this cut-out animation has a fable-like quality. All the creations attempt to possess the moon, but it has a nature of its own and somehow none quite manage to get the better of it. A fabulous stimulus for creating your own cut-out animation.

With materials originally designed for use in an installation, this piece is sustained by the dual processes of editing and dismantling. The film combines frame-by-frame shooting, flickers effects reshooting, trace of sunlight, and trick-effects using wires to create parallel structures of juxtaposition. Even as it imitates the repetitions and transitions of natural phenomenon, the film escapes the world of natural.

The second episode from the "Mystic Tube" series ascertains the variations of "transitions of the reverberations as the sound sources are moved" with continuing the same basic simple plot of "pilgrims pass through a tunnel, playing music as they make their way to their destination". This episode is about the four pilgrims who are led into a high-key sunbeam. The drones and Mevrevic riff in three different folk flutes (Quena, Shinobue, Suling) are intoxicated under the interference of the fluorescences, still, the four continue with their pilgrimage.

This film is the first work of "grained time" series. What I want to express with this series is disassembling and restructuring the human sense. When we focus to one object, we can't feel other objects. I try to express this feeling with many still images taken from many little different positions. The many pictures vibrating randomly converge into one average image. This method is an imitation of depth of field of optical lens. Please feel the comparison between the human looking and the camera focusing.
The film version of the installation exhibition “while being here” which Takashi Makino and Ryota Aoyagi performed in 2007. The feeling which emerges when I heard the sentence “while we are here”.
