Hall Pass Enforcement

The HPE isn't ICE, yes sure they have an integrated system with the DHS, but like it's completely different! This satire was made for an AP Language and Composition class. The prompt was to satirize something currently important in society today. The amazing group you are watching, wrote the script in under a day, and then shot it, thirty minutes a day, for two weeks. Special thanks to Layla Booker and Lucas Selesnick as this was not their projects and they helped out our crew. I hope you enjoy this student film, consider subscribing so we can all go to college, much love.

I Draw Them The Best I Can

In 1944 Germany invaded Hungary. Adam, a young Jewish-Hungarian boy was taken across the street to the house of his neighbours who agreed to hide him from the Nazis. He watched through the slats of the fence as his family was taken away. After being denounced and discovered he embarked on an incredible journey of survival. The film recounts Adam’s experiences, but also how these experiences have rippled through his family for generations, and how the process of making art—particularly comics—has allowed Adam to reimagine, grapple with, and heal from his childhood.

Bay Area Sampler Quilt

"'Sampler quilts' are by nature an amalgamation of different patterned blocks, techniques, and experiments created by a quilter. While each block may seem different, they are held together by the container and boundaries of the quilt itself—its top, back, batting, and quilt work. Bay Area Sampler Quilt is my attempt to consider how to make a film like a quilt. Using built-in camera techniques, repetitions through contact printing, dying, and other experiments employed mimic what a quilter might do in assembling their work, this film explores how each frame, like a quilt block, can express a different creative register..." (AR) Commissioned for Canyon Cinema's Print Generations project.

Resistance101: Forging a New Movement for Palestine in Italy

With little hope of the genocide in Gaza subsiding, dock workers in major Italian port cities have organized strikes and large demonstrations to halt arms shipments to Israel. These actions are a direct response to the refusal of international institutions and governments around the world to confront the carnage. Though the genocide continues, the dockworkers’ industrial disruption offer us a model of resistance. Will the Italian way spread to the imperial core — and can it end the genocide?
