Elysium Without Shores portrays a múa bóng rỗi ritual on an island in the Mekong Delta. As dancers raise their voices in prayer, their collective performance ultimately culminates in the destruction of a hydroelectric dam system, and the inhabitants take on a new role within the island’s ecosystem. Through a geographic and temporal journey as the camera transitions from one scene to another, the film encounters Korea's history and traditions. This is a kind of journal—an attempt to grasp the essence of this land where I lived for ten months.

As a man finds out his lover is pregnant, a random boy comes to their house, asking them to fix his television. While the man silently fixes the boy’s television, the woman calls the police. Late at night, the boy’s mother comes to the lovers’ house. The lovers talk about each other, and the boy and the mother talk about the television they left behind.

This work reconstructs such a space, weaving the latent movements and sounds of office supplies into a rhythmic flow. The photogram technique explores the boundary between materiality and immateriality, creating moments where familiar objects feel unfamiliar. Through this, the audience discovers new expressions of everyday objects that often go unnoticed.
A man searches for memories of his family's past, alternating between Geomeunyeo, Buseok Temple, and his grandmother's house, all of which are located along a straight line on the map. Geomeunyeo is a rock located in the reclaimed area of Buseok, Seosan, South Korea. It was originally a reef that was exposed above sea level, but is now above ground. The name of Buseok, which means floating rock, is said to be derived from Geomeunyeo.
