Dust of the Simulacrum

In a forgotten virtual world, those who have discovered that they were created as mere programs live in constant fear of the "Bugs" consuming their world. Wandering through this fading realm, a nameless girl encounters a traveler who carries the only gun capable of resisting the Bugs. As they fight against the relentless corruption, they continue searching for meaning in a world they know to be artificial. And as the end of their world draws near, the girl comes upon a single "prayer". This is the story of beings born as fiction who, despite knowing their fate, never stopped searching for a reason to live.

宇宙への残響

Just before a live performance, drummer Kyosuke Amano (25) receives a phone call from his mother informing him of his father's accident. Still shaken, he takes to the stage but leaves the venue without starting to play. Later, while spending time idly in his room, he is confronted with the reality that none of the performance videos he has been sending to his father have ever been seen. One evening, as if responding to the rhythm he was unconsciously keeping, a figure in a spacesuit appears. Led by this figure, Kyosuke steps into a spaceship. Inside, he is led to a place that seems to connect him to past memories, where he meets his father in his youth.

HEAR EVERYTHING with Knxwledge

HEAR EVERYTHING is a short film about the 2× Grammy Award-winning producer and beatmaker, Knxwledge. The film traces his journey from Los Angeles to Tokyo, where he embarks on a deeply personal musical and cultural exploration of the city he now calls home. For the first time on film, Knxwledge opens up about his path from a church-going kid, for whom video game music was among the only sounds he could hear besides gospel. To winning Grammys and eventually creating music for the very games that first inspired him. Part documentary, part love letter to Japan, the film follows Knxwledge as he immerses himself in a new environment, drawing constant inspiration from the people he meets and making beats at every possible moment. Always in headphones as he road-tests the ATH-R50x throughout his journey. Featuring appearances from J Rocc, Mndsgn, The Alchemist, Anderson .Paak, and some of Japan’s most influential figures in contemporary culture.

Fever Tango

Filming was completed in 2025, and in 2026 the film was edited and finalized by Yukio Hiruma based on the existing footage, as well as remaining storyboards and written materials. This short film was created around the filmmaker’s intuition and premonition, centered on the question: “What is the difference between sleep without the memory of dreams and death? Aren’t they essentially the same?” One of its themes is the nature of 8mm film as a “material that allows light to pass through it.
