An interview with RWF in the kitchen in a house he had rented close to Paris at that time. Four years before his untimely death, the interview shows a quite relaxed and patient Fassbinder who answers all kinds of (often contrafactual or at least uninformed) questions and reveals quite a lot about his childhood and current personal drama. In his desperation, Grübler chains and kidnaps his son to hide him in a dugout in the forest until the end of the war. In their shelter, father and son are fighting bitterly but when the Nazis who still believe in the "Endsieg" discover their hideout, Grübler sacrifices his life to save Wolfgang.

15 years ago Paul Jordan was a star in Hollywood musicals. But then he retired from showbiz and married the rich Joan. Marina Abramović Freeing the Body was performed at the Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Kreuzberg, where Abramović began dancing frantically to the sounds of a bongo player. During the early part of the performance, she still has plenty of energy, and she rocks her hips and upper body vigorously to and fro. Over the course of the six hours, exhaustion sets in. Abramović falls back on a single monotonous movement, now and then visibly exerting herself in an attempt to reivigorate her body. After a final convulsive movement, in which she tries to give her all for one last time, she allows herself to collapse onto the floor and remains lying there, completely exhausted. During the performance, Abramović's head was covered by a black scarf. In this way, the audience was not distracted by Abramović as a person or personality, and attention can be focused on the body, which, due to its anonymity, has become an abstraction.

Karl Nass and Jonny Tetens are captain and helmsman on a long voyage. When their shipowner Christiansen sells all his ships in order to have a modern container fleet built, Karl and Jonny bridge this waiting period as landlords of the sailors' pub "Kap Hoorn". One day, the shipowner's pretty little daughter Irmgard appears at "Uncle" Karl's because she has left home and her father wants to marry her off to a rich business friend in order to save his container building program financially. Master baker Haase travels to Vienna to see a notary regarding an inheritance. There, he meets Clarisse, who immediately wants to relieve him of the unexpected windfall.
