Past: Future: Present Self-Composting

A spectral figure appears in a night landscape where multiple temporalities converge. This work-in-progress is the first dispatch from the Ectoplasmic Research Group. As the beginning of a trilogy that considers what it means to compost the « self » in an era that places increased value on identity and other forms of enclosure, self-composting embraces ectoplasmic, transfeminist, and non-binary frames of « becoming, » as that which exceeds collective operating systems driven by capture and capital.

Through the shadows, to paradise

A circle has no beginning and no end. Wheels burn on a road leading nowhere. The serpent consumes itself. The drive within that seeks meaning in destruction and cause for resurrection. A name from a dream and a promise: Keep Falling And I'll Find You. In Through the shadows to paradise we enter a study of cycles, repetition and drive using found and archival footage. This work synthesizes movement with a cinematic sound inspired by old Hollywood occult and the strange under belly of Americana, a liminal space where queerness lives. Through the darkness emerges an ephemeral beauty, as Kier Griffiths and Tyler Alexander-founders of HOMO- shape the visuals, with a live experimental score by Jared St. James.
