Just before a live performance, drummer Kyosuke Amano (25) receives a phone call from his mother informing him of his father's accident. Later, while spending time idly in his room, he is confronted with the reality that none of the performance videos he has been sending to his father have ever been seen. One evening, as if responding to the rhythm he was unconsciously keeping, a figure in a spacesuit appears. Led by this figure, Kyosuke steps into a spaceship. Inside, he is led to a place that seems to connect him to past memories, where he meets his father in his youth.

A jaded grocery store employee drifting through his bleak routine encounters a man by the name of Life. Through his conversations with Life, the protagonist's ideas slowly begin to shift.

Its sounds a constant companion as I navigate life in the sweltering summer heat. Much like my own existence, the life cycle of a cicada is marked by uncertainty and obstacles, yet the insect persists, following its intuition. The unpredictability of printmaking mirrors these experiences, ultimately portraying the inexhaustibility and beauty of life.

Miki, a 27-year-old working in an architectural firm, wakes up in her small apartment, pulled out of her sleepy memory. Her world is quiet and strange, but will soon be interrupted by a transformative experience spurred by a half-remembered wolf bite. As Miki searches for answers, she soon finds herself drawn into the woods, and to the center of a ritual at a shrine cared for by elderly maidens.

Akari receives a spare key and ends up living at the ballet studio. As Junichi is leaving, he invites Akari to a restaurant for her birthday. Akari is delighted by the invitation. Akari has a past of being abused by Junichi. Because of this, she repeatedly puts on a child's leotard and suffocates herself to derive pleasure from it. One day, Natsuki Imai (25), a former student of Junichi, comes to the studio. Junichi is happy to see his student again. Akari is jealous of Natsuki and tries to get Junichi's attention by speaking ill of her. On the night of her birthday, Akari waits for Junichi at the studio, but he doesn't come. Akari gets tired of waiting and falls asleep. When she woke up, Junichi and Natsuki were happily drinking alcohol. Then Junichi found a child's leotard in Akari's belongings...
