Two old men: one, a friendly, "normal" citizen, suddenly has murderous thoughts and frees himself bit by bit from annoying fellow human beings. The other is his neighbor, a retired detective who is unable to find definitive proof against the suspected murderer. As only one of them can emerge victorious from the story, they both set about the final, decisive showdown.

Selected industrial and city settings from the three films were documented again for Usinimage and intercut with the corresponding fiction film scenes, in order to give the landscapes a new accent through artistic defamiliarization and condensation. It is an exploration of city architecture, in which the shooting location serves not just as reflective or constrastive backdrop but rather becomes itself content.

The real "problem" starts when Paul gets to know psychologist Margarethe Tietze whose relationship to her parents is also not so easy after all.

The new environment confronts him with politically interested people for the first time in his life, but also involves him in a protest by the peace movement and gets him imprisoned. Jörg Buttgereit himself plays a TV horror show presenter, introducing the audience to a variety of "Horror classics”. These are of course all short Super 8 films and he shows here his versatility as a filmmaker. The short pieces are all made in 1984 and range from a spoof on the Mummy to a Frankenstein parody, to an amazingly well-crafted stop-motion animated Godzilla-like monster pic called GAZORRA (starring Daktari Lorenz from NEKROMANTIK) to a down and dirty girl-fights-off-violent-rapist segment named CANNIBAL GIRL. Hilarious horror comedy!

A terrorist drives a car to Hamburg's Rathausmarkt and unloads an unknown device that he claims can cause radioactive contamination.
