Made in the "Boca do Lixo" district in São Paulo, this work explores the world of women prostitutes in downtown São Paulo. The author allows the narrative to be led by the interviewees themselves, removing the reporter's voice and intervening as little as possible in the editing of the testimonies. At a time when AIDS was primarily associated with gay men, most of the prostitutes say they don't believe they can be infected and refuse to use condoms. One of them shares that she used to be a madam and a drug dealer, but now lives like an ordinary worker, working from 10 to 7 and raising her children. Another recalls her time as a domestic worker, earning in one month what she now makes in a single day as a prostitute. The soundtrack features songs by Milton Nascimento and Mutantes.

August, 1980. Evandro Carreira, a Brazilian senator leaves his party's office in Manaus to visit his constituents in the state of Amazonas. Interviews with farmhands, loggers, explorer Paulo Lucena, Brazilian and Peruvian Indians and a representative of the National Indian Foundation (Funai) were recorded from the city of Benjamin Constant to the village of Cavalo Cocho. A visit to the indigenous village of the Ticunas and the lands of the Maiuruna people culminate with an interview and the actions of José Francisco da Cruz, a member of the Order of the Holy Cross. Throughout the trip, the economic potential of the Amazon and its problems (corruption in the indigenous policies and the pollution produced by factories) are shown.

Eduardo Coutinho was filming a movie with the same name in the Northeast of Brazil, in 1964, when there came the military coup. He chooses one, finds it expensive and demands an invoice. The store owner, Amhad Najar, argues and they end up fighting. The warrant officer leaves the fight with a fractured leg. Outside the store, the people who were watching the fight and the fight rebel, destroy the merchant's store and go to other stores in the square. The police cannot control the situation. Late at night, a truce: the population goes to sleep, gathering strength for the following days, when the situation becomes unsustainable. The police withdraw from the streets, the Army begins to act and, on the tenth, puts the tanks on the streets.
