From the origins of the Harituz association in Astigarraga (Basque Country) and guided by its protagonists, it describes the meetings, stories, actions and voyages at home and abroad. In this project, knitting is the vehicle which unites very different women, who become knitters in the fight, and who stand up to sexist violence from sisterhood. The Yarn, an enormous collective bow in progress, which is already more than 6 km long, is a space of symbolisation, where every stretch represents a life taken by sexist violence.

Dolors

The role of historians is key in the history of humanity because their objective is to investigate the past to avoid repeating the same mistakes in the future. Furthermore, they often bring to light the history of unique individuals who, due to circumstances, have not received the recognition they deserve, especially in the case of women. This documentary focuses on the work of the historian Aïda Sánchez, who rescued Dolours Vives Rodon from oblivion, one of the pioneering women in piloting aircraft in our country and who played a vital role during the Spanish Civil War.

Gdeim Izik: catalyst of the Arab Spring

This documentary illustrates the story of Gdeim Izik through the voices of the Sahrawis themselves, giving personal accounts of how the camp was dismantled, what happened in the following weeks, and what it meant for them, as a people and as a nation. Our aim is to shed light on what really happened in Gdeim Izik during the autumn of 2010. The documentary is homage to the courage and strength of the Sahrawi people in their historic and unprecedented action, and it seeks recognition of their role in setting off the revolutions in the Arab world. Its aim is also to report and denounce the hypocritical role of foreign governments, the Moroccan government’s concealment of facts, and the way the Spanish government has been complicit in the situation through its policy of non-intervention in a conflict in which it is unavoidably involved.

The windows

In June 2024, the photographer María Cano presented a series of pictures in the window of "Es Mirador", in Set Cantons street in Palma (Mallorca). One night I was walking around the area with my little camera and decided to record the Maria's work and the space around it. The photographs in the window showed disjointed figures and faces that seemed to come out of a nightmare. Every one of them gave me a feeling of terrible anxiety. They were faces, hands and metaphorical cries that denounced a problem that affects a large part of the young population: the problem of housing. With these recordings as a starting point, I began to make this audiovisual piece.

Los refugiados de Barrancos

September 1936. The last republican towns located next to Portugal are conquered by General Franco's troops. As in Badajoz and other towns, the repression they unleash is brutal. The support of the Portuguese dictator Salazar for the coup plotters does not make it advisable to flee to Portugal, but for many it is the only way out. In this way, hundreds of people decide to cross the border, closely pursued by the rebels. The usual procedure of the Portuguese authorities is to hand them over to their Francoist allies. However, thanks to the humanitarian intervention of the Portuguese lieutenant António Augusto de Seixas, two refugee camps were created next to the town of Barrancos to house and protect this group of Spaniards.

Ucrania: OBLIGADOS A SOBREVIVIR

The war in Ukraine continues to leave indelible scars, but beyond military strategies and political speeches, there are stories that are rarely told: those of people who survive day by day amid the conflict. In an effort to document the human reality of war, Rubén Díez (Lethal Crysis), one of the most influential Spanish-speaking travel and exploration content creators, and Ignacio Marín, a renowned photojournalist specializing in war zones, traveled to the heart of the conflict in December 2024 to capture the experiences of those who resist in the shadows. For two weeks, they visited trenches, evacuation points, rehabilitation centers, and front lines, meeting soldiers, doctors, civilians, and refugees who shared their daily lives in a world where normalcy has been destroyed. Through intimate encounters and raw testimonies, this feature-length documentary offers an honest, unfiltered look at the human capacity to adapt, resist, and carry on—even in the darkest of settings.
