45 Seconds is a documentary that tells the story of children who disappeared in the earthquake of August 17, 1999 and have not been found yet. According to official data, in the August 17, 1999 Marmara Earthquake, one of Turkey's biggest disasters, 17 thousand 480 people lost their lives and tens of thousands were injured. The losses caused by the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that lasted 45 seconds are not limited to these. One of the greatest pain experienced after the earthquake was dozens of children who disappeared... According to some, the children who could not be reached despite the passing years were kidnapped by the organ mafia, and according to others, they were given up for adoption. The documentary is about the efforts of families who searched for their children from city to city for 19 years, dreaming of the day they would be reunited with them, and their unfinished lives.

The documentary tells the story of six friends who fought against compulsory military service in the Basque Country. They were all imprisoned for refusing to perform military service, and they all preferred prison to the army. They showed great courage and stubbornness, until they managed to win the antimilitarist struggle against the Spanish State.

Between 1920 and 1953, the government of São Paulo sponsored the construction of a massive nationalist monument created by the famous Brazilian sculptor Victor Brecheret in honor of the bandeirantes, 16th and 17th-century fortune hunters and enslavers of indigenous people. Danny Lyon's SNCC (2020), brings together hundreds of never-before-seen black-and-white photographs made by Lyon during the years that he was employed as the staff photographer for the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, or SNCC. Beginning in 1962 in Cairo, Illinois when Lyon, then a University of Chicago student, met John Lewis, Freedom Rider, the film traces the story of their friendship alongside the ongoing struggle for civil rights in the United States. The images are layered with archival audio recordings of speeches by and conversations with Lewis, Julian Bond, and Dotty Zellner, among others, as well as freedom songs that were recorded by Alan Ribback in churches and meetings in Atlanta in the 1960s and recently rediscovered by Lyon.

Director Ariel Danziger took a very different approach to the filming of Ritmo del Agua. It’s light-footed, monochrome depiction of Herrera’s interior world is a far cry from the glossy, cinematic pacing of previous projects, such as Somewhere and Jamila. Instead, Danziger shoots straight for the heart in a pared-down documentary profile stitched together using the protagonist’s emotional bonds.
