"Call Me When You Get There" is a video essay series exploring the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and our ethical responses to it. Utilizing a mix of mediums, found archival footage, generated footage and material I've shot, it aims to be thought provoking, educational and entertaining.

“Words are the only instruments I have”, says Aslı Erdoğan in this powerful audiovisual collage. The writer, physicist and human rights activist who lives in exile in Berlin writes against the disappearance and loss of her own language. As a former political prisoner in Turkey, she knows only too well what autocratic violence and oppression intend: to silence people.

Between 1946 and 1951, "The Sardinian Project" upsets the history of Sardinia: the definitive disappearance of malaria, an endemic disease in many areas of the island. However, the disinfestation of the island represents only the first station of a stratified journey, a path between different eras, registers and points of view: the propaganda images and war-like symbols intersect with the gaze of the film-amateurs.

The wind had turned, the march on Rome was almost upon us. The film arrived at the Cineteca di Bologna, thanks to Cecilia Mangini, who deposited a copy at the Cineteca.

It was the night between December 15 and 16, 1969, when railwayman, anarchist and partisan Giuseppe Pinelli, known as “Pino,” died at the age of 41 after falling from a window of the Milan police headquarters, where he was being held for investigation after a bomb exploded at the Banca Nazionale dell’Agricoltura in Milan: now the documentary goes in search of the man, the husband and the father, with his ideas, his passions, his affections--starting from that fateful 1969 and arriving at 2009, when President Giorgio Napolitano called him “the 18th victim of the Piazza Fontana massacre.”

The vineyards of Bagnara Calabra (in the province of Reggio Calabria) are located on rocky cliffs overlooking the sea. Small terraces were built by local fishermen over centuries of hard work, on days when fishing was not possible. The short film describes the life of a couple of farmers/fishermen divided between the vineyard and fishing at sea.
