A young student prepares his degree thesis on Pasolini and Bologna by investigating the relationship of the great intellectual with the city of his childhood and his studies. Following in the footsteps left by Pasolini in Bologna, the protagonist will tell, for the first time in the form of a documentary and with a rock narrative rhythm, the emotional, visceral but also controversial bond of Pasolini with Bologna until his final days, also characterized by severe criticisms of the “consumerist and communist” city, a symbolic terrain of the adverse social and economic metamorphosis from paleoindustrial to neo-capitalist society.

In 1900, the eyes of the whole world are on Paris. The World's Fair welcomed 50 million amazed visitors, and the city celebrated itself in a glamorous era. This period went down in history as the "Belle Époque." Elaborately restored and colorized historical photographs bring to life the exciting life in Paris between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of World War I in 1914. Bicycles, cars, airplanes, moving pictures, newly founded film studios, revolutionary composers and painters, avant-garde ballet performances, fashion houses, summer resorts on the Atlantic coast – life was intoxicating. People celebrate in the variety shows, cabarets, and revue theaters of Paris. Moulin Rouge, Folies Bergères, Bal Tabarin—in Paris, the nights are long and life is too short to sleep through. It is a dance on the volcano, given the political developments in the world.

Sofia and Nigina. They’re Afghans, beautiful, proud, best friends, despite themselves and without knowing it - icons of Kabul’s idle youth. Behind the curtains of their beauty salon, the exterior of which has been ransacked by the Taliban, they support a small team and a dream: to protect their last space of freedom. Their salon is situated in central Kabul. Around twenty employees work there, seven days a week. It’s a sanctuary for women: a place where men do not enter. We began filming the day after the Taliban came to power on August 15, 2021. For a year and a half, as the extremists impose new laws on Afghans, especially women, we follow the two friends in their beauty salon and across the Afghan capital: in a park where they are the only ones who still dare to show their faces; on the hilltops where they learn to drive in secret… And then, on the road to exile. The repression becomes too suffocating, too violent. The young women’s quest for lightness becomes a plan of escape…

Letter from Beirut documents the filmmaker's return to Beirut during one of the lulls, three years after the outbreak of the civil war, animated by the urge to return. She is confronted by the physical, emotional and psychological ravages of the war, terrified and sorrowful, she cannot find her place in the city. In that quest, she communicates with everyday people, friends, neighbors, people riding the bus across the city's eastern and western flanks. To pace her journeying and dramatic unraveling of the film, Saab borrows the guise of a letter read in a voice-over, written by world-renowned poet Etel Adnan. A rare document from the civil war, Letter from Beirut lays bare and spontaneously how people make sense of their everyday in the midst of chaos, violence, terror and sorrow.

"Many spectators who have viewed this picture on the Biograph have insisted that they have experienced the pangs of seasickness. The picture was taken from the deck of one tug which was tumbling and tossing in the immense rollers, while the tug that was being photographed was similarly affected. At times the billows break over the bow of the tiny craft and almost bury it from sight in the spray. One of the biggest hits of the Biograph."

A feature-length documentary about François Cavanna—creator of the publications Charlie Hebdo and Hara-Kiri—who passed away on January 29, 2014. His influence on several generations of writers, journalists, and comedians is far too little known. While older audiences are aware that he co-founded Hara-Kiri and Charlie Hebdo with Choron, the dozens of books and collections he wrote or contributed to remain largely unfamiliar. People chiefly remember his early autobiographical works—such as *Les Ritals*, *Les Russkoffs*, and *Bête et méchant*—while overlooking his historical novels, encyclopedias, and polemical writings like *Stop crève…* The film draws on interviews with Cavanna conducted shortly before his death, forgotten archival footage, and previously unheard testimonies from figures such as Siné, Willem, Delfeil de Ton, and Sylvie Caster.

Sanctuary explores queer spirituality and utopian sexualities through the figure of Purusha Androgyne Larkin (1934–1988), a monk, pioneering gay filmmaker, and self-proclaimed cosmic-erotic mystic. Larkin’s 1981 book, 'The Divine Androgyne According to Purusha', challenged repression with a spiritual vision rooted in eroticism and presented a radical path to cosmic-erotic consciousness through ‘extreme’ forms of sexual pleasure. Sanctuary explores Larkin's attempt to form a utopian, pleasure-based spiritual community, and considers the complex legacies of his ideas in queer culture. Shot on 16mm, the film weaves together the voices of Larkin’s friends and followers, creating a portrait in absentia of a figure ahead of his time.

A look at the 1950s muscle men's magazines and the representative industry which were popular supposedly as health and fitness magazines, but were in reality primarily being purchased by the still-underground homosexual community. Basse Normandie is based on actual events. Protagonists Simon Reggiani and Patricia Mazuy are also husband and wife in real life. They filmed the creation of one of Simon’s plays, and then reenacted some of the events surrounding it. Simon prepares for a one-man show that he will perform largely on horseback, including dressage. The local government of the region hopes to use the play to improve its image; with government’s support, it’s decided that Simon will perform the play before an audience of over 1,700 farmers during an agricultural congress in Paris. The director of a large stud farm provides Simon with rehearsal space. What follows is the path that Reggiani had to take in order to create his performance — a path filled with obstacles ranging from uncooperative stable staff and a grumpy horse to vocal problems. An intriguing and occasionally absurd mixture of filmed theater, a making-of documentary, mockumentary and dressage lesson.

Before the Premier League and multi-million pound salaries, in England 'football' was a dirty word. The game was in disgrace, the fans, hooligans, the nation, it seemed, were all played out. Then there was Italia '90 - The World Cup - a shot at redemption. But this was no ordinary World Cup and no ordinary time. The manager, Sir Bobby Robson, was under intense media scrutiny, and his team described as 'donkeys'. Yet over six short weeks, through their heroic exploits they united a nation, coming within a heart beat of reaching the World Cup Final. Narrated by Gary Oldman, featuring match action - from Platt's last-gasp winner against Belgium to the silky skills of Gazza and the cool finishing of Lineker - and previously unseen footage, this is the definitive story of England's greatest footballing adventure on foreign soil... so far.
