Created by Sister Sylvester and Nadah El Shazly, Constantinopoliad is a collective reading and audio work. A response to the archive of the poet Constantine Cavafy, the story is inspired by the blank and torn out pages in “Constantinopoliad, an epic”, the journal the teenage Cavafy began when he and his family fled Alexandria; by lost and missing queer archives through time; and by the ghosts, both erotic and historical, that visit the older Cavafy in his poems.

It's a story that begins long ago. In the early 2000s, a young comic artist decided to tell stories through drawings, far from the canons of mainstream comics. He did it under the banner of DIY and sharing: small, stapled booklets, photocopied, bound, and mailed directly. In those strips, suspended between anticipation and memory, the stories are about lives that intersect, friendships, love, out-of-town students, the disorientation before growing up, fanzines, and self-produced records. In the background, the quiet indolence of the provinces. That young comic artist became Alessandro Baronciani, now one of the leading figures in Italian authorial comics, and that project was "Una storia a fumetti".

The AfD is clearly the strongest force on TikTok. Its official account has far more followers than those of the other major German parties combined. 14 to 19-year-olds are the main users of the social media platform TikTok, followed by those aged 20 and over. That is why the AfD is particularly popular with young voters there. How does the political party manage this? And what does this mean for the upcoming early federal election in February 2025? For the documentary, the team of authors researched undercover, created numerous fake accounts and delved deep into the bubble of AfD supporters. A dark world in which even official AfD party representatives flood TikTok with massive amounts of content and in which their right-wing extremist and anti-constitutional messages reach millions of young people. The AfD has understood how to use the time that young people statistically spend on TikTok per day for their indoctrination. And that could have fatal consequences.

Arrebato (1980) is the great cult movie of today's Spanish cinema and Iván Zulueta, its director, an accursed filmmaker. Arrebato was the film that forecast the end of the movida, a dark and harrowing reel whose history and intra-history are intimately linked. Arrebato acts as a premonition of the director’s own life. Just like his actors, Zulueta will end up being brought down by drugs and the cinema and, like them, will also disappear.

The director Tomáš Hlaváček is loosely building upon the time-lapse documentary Housing Against Everyone, in which he captured the dispute surrounding the Rapid Re-Housing project in Brno. The topic of decent housing for families in need is also addressed in The Impossibility. People occupying rental apartments in Brno's “Kuncovka” wanted hot water, electricity and fair negotiations. Instead, they received bullying and threats from the owner, who, in his own words, “does not like coloured people”. Neither the police nor the city helped them. So they joined forces with activists and lawyers to fight for their rights. Hlaváček chronicles the months-long conflict with its legal follow-up as an engaged observer.
