Vampalaš

The film is dedicated to the Nart epic, which is based on tales of the origin and adventures of heroic heroes (Narts), common among a number of peoples of the North Caucasus. Occupying a prominent place in the culture of the Ingush, it is closely associated with various Ingush families and societies that associate their origin with the Nart heroes. After the adoption of Islam, the Narts lost their divine significance, but the tales and legends about them have forever remained in the people's memory. The video essay conveys the state captured during the expedition to Ingushetia. The giants "went into editing", the past was lost in the new religion. The flow of time carries the tales into oblivion, leaving only scraps of phrases and information that have settled in the locals.

A star and a victim of her time, a forced hermit and a prisoner of madness, her life is a tangle of glory and oblivion, her name is surrounded by an aura of mystery, delight and contempt...

The Nanai people are among the indigenous communities of the Far East, numbering approximately 12 thousand in Russia. Andrei Beldy, a cultural advocate for the Nanai community residing in the village of Naikhin, expresses concern about the fading of traditions and the Nanai language. Only a few hundred individuals can speak it fluently, with local children receiving instruction from an enthusiastic linguist from Veliky Novgorod. Beldy recounts the historical displacement of Nanais to Sakhalin during Stalin's era to populate the former Japanese territory. He criticizes the current authorities for restricting free fishing, a traditional occupation for the Nanai people. Most villages lack access to gas, and timber is exported abroad. With the onset of the war in Ukraine, many Nanai residents, including the elderly and deceased, received conscription notices.

The Fellowship of the Ring. The Large Hadron Collider

Today, scientists predict several options for the life of the universe. The first option is not the worst: the Universe as it is now has always been and will always exist. The second option: she was born, changed, and someday, sadly, she will die. Most scientists tend to the latter. The Universe was born as a result of an explosion of a small superdense clot of matter, which had great energy, which began to scatter in different directions. But how did the planets and, ultimately, life itself come from energy? Thousands of scientists are looking for the answer to this question. Peter Higgs is the most expensive scientist for the world economy. His theory of the birth of the universe has already cost taxpayers 6 million euros. And this is not the limit. The Large Hadron Collider, which is capable of confirming the Higgs theory, has not even begun to operate at full capacity. And many are sure that they will never start.
