UNBROKEN: The Untold Story of Shen Yun

“UNBROKEN: The Untold Story of Shen Yun” follows the world-renowned classical Chinese dance company Shen Yun Performing Arts as it rises to global acclaim while facing intimidation and threats of violence. Through the eyes of two brothers and their fellow performers, the film traces an unlikely journey—from ordinary American childhoods to the world’s most prestigious stages—where rigorous artistic training and spiritual conviction shape both their craft and their character. As Shen Yun tours internationally, the company becomes the target of escalating smear campaigns, threats, and alleged interference linked to the Chinese Communist Party. Blending personal storytelling with investigative reporting, “UNBROKEN” reveals what happens when art, faith, and freedom collide with totalitarianism power—and how resilience, community, and cultural revival endure in the face of intimidation.

Adam's Apple

An intimate, collaborative documentary told through the dual perspectives of Adam, a transgender teen, and his mother, visual artist Amy Jenkins, that offers an authentic and tender counterpoint to the hostility facing trans youth today. Adam’s journey balances the milestones of gender transition with the rhythms of adolescence. As Adam asserts his identity and steps out into the world, his parents grapple with the challenges of raising a teen while learning to let go. Through a visually poetic approach, the film transforms a deeply personal archive, collected over two decades, into a powerful, joyful testament to the beauty and difficulty of reckoning with profound change.

This trip, from a divided country that has been in a socio-political crisis for five months, since the tragedy at the Novi Sad railway station - they called it the trip of justice. Eighty students from Serbia cycled through 6 European countries and 15 large cities in 12 days. Festive welcomes, tears, song and laughter in the squares all over Europe. They were welcomed by the Serbian diaspora, but also by the leaders of the cities they passed through. The Hills of Wrath

The Hills of Wrath takes us to the heart of the land of Condrieu and Côte-Rôtie wines, the singular domains of winemaker Christine Vernay. Beyond the climatic hazards that these women and men will endure that year, the film is an odyssey that pays tribute to an extraordinary place and personalities, a breath of hope that they transmit to us in the face of a changing world. Through their experience, it is also an important testimony to various current issues: the consequences of climate change, the place of women in agriculture, the rupture in biodiversity and soil protection via organic viticulture and of course transmission.

Persepolis : Before It Burned

Persepolis—located in modern-day Iran —or Parsa, as the Persians called it , and step into its grand halls exactly as they were around 450 BC, right before its spectacular downfall. It’s not just about looking at buildings; we explore the massive artificial platform , the Gate of All Nations guarded by colossal stone bulls , and the magnificent Apadana audience hall at their absolute peak. We contrast that vibrant reality—where twenty-three different nations gathered during the Nowruz spring festival to share feasts and exchange tribute —with the scorched, silent ruins that remain today.
