General Hercules

In June 1893, European prospectors unlawfully took claim to ‘The Golden Mile’ on Aboriginal land. In little over a hundred years the natural landscape has been transformed into the industrial hellscape of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. As incumbent Mayor John Bowler starts to campaign for a second term, independent prospector John ‘General Hercules’ Katahanas decides to run against him on an anti-corruption ticket. What starts out as a quirky David-vs-Goliath political battle, unravels into a portrait of a man, a town and a country sent mad by the timeless cycles of exploitation, racism and greed.

The Last of Us

A documentary recounting the stories that have characterized the personal and artistic lives of Sergio Martino and Ruggero Deodato, two filmmakers who have represented Italian genre cinema in the world, loved by directors such as Quentin Tarantino, Eli Roth, Tim Burton, etc. All this takes place in the setting of a typical Roman restaurant, where the two directors meet for a lunch based on "spaghetti alla carbonara". Pasta is a determining element in Italian culture and, like the spaghetti western, it will characterize our story.

Carbon: The Unauthorised Biography

With Carbon in the news every day, you might think you know everything about her. But you’d be wrong. This spectacular and surprisingly unorthodox documentary reveals the paradoxical story of the element that builds all life, and yet may end it all. Narrated in first person by  Sarah Snook (Succession), Carbon tells of her birth in the violent core of an exploding star and of turbulent sagas through the fabric of our evolving Earth. Accompanied by celebrated scientists, unique animations and a stunning orchestral score, Carbon reminds us of our humble participation in the most extraordinary story in the universe.

The Last Dialogue

"Austria - First Victim of National Socialism" - this is the core theme of the self-image of the country that first welcomed Hitler with waving flags and arms stretched to the sky: Nation, People and Race - Sieg Heil! The war of narratives begins with the liberation of the concentration camps, with the piles of corpses - and it continues to this day. A final journey with those who were there. Blind Spot

Under the Ben Ali dictatorship in Tunisia, on October 7, 1991, a man was abducted, tortured in prison, and eventually killed for allegedly belonging to an Islamist movement. Unaware of her son’s death, Kamal Matmati’s mother would still go above and beyond for years, trying to reach him with letters and clean clothes. Thirty years later, a trial is held addressing Matmati’s death at the hands of the Ben Ali regime. The mother is asking for her son’s corpse so they can give him a proper burial. Matmati’s voice, who speaks to us posthumously, raises a discussion about the manipulated collective history that serves only the oppressors’ agenda.

Suno

An experimental short documentary essay about the dreams of Roma women living in the ghetto in Kosice. Roma are one of the largest ethnic groups living in Slovakia. Despite this, integration into all spheres of society is difficult. And it should be noted that this applies not only to Slovakia. Luník IX houses the largest community of Romani people in Slovakia. Although originally built for 2,500 inhabitants, it is estimated that the population is now three times larger. Living standards are low, with services such as gas, water, and electricity cut off, as the majority of inhabitants are not paying rent or utilities fees.

Once Upon a Time Yeşilçam: Abdurrahman Keskiner

Abdurrahman Keskiner is one of the big guns of Turkish cinema. In Türkiye's national productions' history, his working method distinguishes him as a producer from the rest. Even though it may seem contradictory at first glance, he never gives up on investing in subtlety. Other producers have not pursued the same hope over and over and invested all of their earnings in shooting films ambitiously after making a loss. Yet, Abdurrahman Keskiner was an exception to this. He took great strides in promoting Türkiye's cinema to the world.

Néstor, su huella

Nestor Kirchner was – along with Cristina Fernandez – the central figure of Argentine politics in the first years of the 21st century in Argentina. His Government and his political leadership starred in the brightest moment since the return of democracy in 1983, both in terms of memory, truth and justice, as well as breaking the infernal circle of debt and subjection to external powers, energetically reactivating the economy and employment, promoting science and technology and the expansion of rights. We will make this cinematographic narrative hand in hand and with the voices of the men and women who were affected by these policies, and whose lives changed thanks to them.
