The first reel shows the paratroopers assembling at a field airport, receiving a motivational address from their commander about their mission to prevent a French attack on the Ruhr by keeping bridges in Holland open. The second reel captures the mass jump over Moordijk, the landing, and the subsequent combat activities, including securing bridges, capturing Dutch prisoners, and thwarting enemy attempts to destroy bridges. The third reel continues with ground combat, the capture of Moordijk, and the strategic advance of German troops, despite French intervention. The paratroopers successfully hold out for three days and two nights until German combat troops arrive, contributing to the rapid surrender of Holland. The film concludes with the paratroopers meeting up with advancing German forces, celebrating their victory.
