Russian President Vladimir Putin described the collapse of the Soviet Union as "the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century". It was a noiseless collapse. Since then, the 15 countries between the Baltic Sea and the Pamir mountain range have gone their own way. Ruslan Semjonowitsch Grinberg, a renowned economist and trusted confidant of Gorbachev, believes that all successor states act on the same principle: maximum economic cooperation with Russia and minimum political dependence. But Russian President Vladimir Putin does not only have to deal with the former "sister nations". Most Russians perceive the fact that NATO is practically on their country's doorstep as a threat. In this conflict, Putin, nostalgic for the Soviet era and on the basis of internal repression, wants to raise Russia to a new greatness. This documentary shows what has become of the legacy of a world power, in Lithuania, in the Caucasus, in Kyrgyzstan and in Russia.

“Children of the Earth” is the testimony of people linked to nature who open their hearts to transmit to humanity the wisdom that Mother Earth treasures. People who have inherited their knowledge from their ancestors and whose practice shows that we have a living pharmacy within our reach, as long as we take care of nature. They are medicine men and women who propose “an initiatory journey”, a plea in favor of natural medicine. They also emphasize that the materialism and stress to which current society subjects us prevent us from searching for consciousness, leading us to distance ourselves from nature. In this way, the documentary leads the viewer to reflect on the current health system. But it also tries to make people see that the great challenge is to once again be able to think about the common good, the Earth, our greatest provider of life.

The “normalized” return to the mines with surveillance by the Civil Guard, the first strikes, timid and disorganized, spontaneous; the organization then, unionized and clandestine; the “resistance boxes”, the constant pulse against Francoism…

In Toloriu, a small village nestled between the Catalan pyrenees, the people tell the story of Xipahuatzin, daughter of the aztec emperor Moctezuma, taken there by the baron Joan de Grau during the Spanish conquest. Several years later, incapable of adapting to the cold mountains, Xipahuatzin died of sadness. Drawn to this story, Mexican filmmaker Patricia Ordaz travelled to this village to explore the landscapes that harbored the princess, and record the traditions of an almost ghost town. Do we exist beyond the stories we tell?
