Cinephilia Now: Part III – Lux Crawler I++

“The third part of the series focuses on western Tottori. There is a strong sense of community among the organisations that are active in the area. Not only do members gather on the days of the events, but they regularly share their passion and are quick to offer a helping hand. Viewing experiences consist of more than just the featured film or video. There are parts of it that can’t be quantified, so I hurried to make note of them before they faded from memory.” Sasaki Yusuke

The Wind From Nowhere

"We dream of a world where we can find our own way." If a woman removes the option of 'marriage' from her life, even those who see her for the first time predict her miserable future. The old belief that a woman's life has a happy ending only when she ends up as a 'wife' or 'mother' is still alive in 2020. Now in 2020, many women are throwing away old customs and flying into their own world. This documentary sheds light on the stories of women who are walking the path of singleness over time. Through this documentary, I hope that the freedom is expanded into two options, and thus make women's daily lives more diverse and free.

Riverbed

This is an image of a family. Through the memories of many people, it traces the growth, migration and different life experiences of several generations of the author's family. It shows the destiny of ordinary people and their inner scenery in social transformation. Each generation has its own joy and pain, and life still continues in hope, hardship and helplessness. The various imprints of survival that remain in the film are the hard riverbed of individual life and a period of micro-history washed out by time
