By becoming aware of an idea that is new to us, we talk about it all the time. And beyond that, all the subjects that we approach, we approach them through this new prism. We are going as far as proselytism - essentially to convince ourselves. We repeat the same words, slightly reformulated, until we are convinced. It is a way of swallowing our conditioning to this idea, while hinting that we are already sure. In politics or in love. We repeat ourselves. We repeat ourselves. We repeat ourselves.

Juxtaposing two distinct modes of storytelling, one restrained and reverent, another energetic and dissimulated, seeking to recapitulate the plans of conspiracy and coup plotted by the former governor of Guanabara Carlos Lacerda in the backstage of the official history of Brazil using not only the archival images , but the sound of narration and incidental sound effects to characterize the change of focus and tension, as well as establishing the identities of the characters involved, namely Getúlio Vargas, Jânio Quadros, João Goulart, JK, foreign forces, Brazilian military, etc. In honoring the famous passage of the false newsreel in Glauber Rocha's "Terra in Transe" (1967), we will present the trajectory of Carlos Lacerda who, like the dictator Porfirio Diaz, from the fictional city of Eldorado, began his public life in communism but, within a few years, he became a notorious coup and conservative leader.

A film centered on the production of landscape and concrete in the Arrábida Natural Park, Portugal. Covering a vast area of coast, caves, mountains and forest, the park is inhabited by a massive concrete factory that branches through the landscape. Documenting the various layers of the sourced material, the factory body and the constructed landscape, the film looks at how time is physically embedded in the matter and how the molecular particles act in a circular re-shaping of the whole. The film merges 16mm footage shot in the area of Arrábida with 3D animation of the topographic landscape as an equal analogue layer. Há só uma terra. There is only one earth.

Marly Anzualdo, a human rights activist; Sandra Requena, a renowned singer in the underground music scene; Carmela Vildoso, a sociologist and former Minister of Women; Aurora Chirinos, a biologist; Isabel Asto, an Andean music singer; Victoria Villanueva, co-founder of Manuela Ramos; Merian Eyzaguirre, a singer and LGBTQ activist; Marisa Godinez, an illustrator; Lola Marchena, a Creole music singer; and Armandina Quispe, a former leader of the Peruvian Peasant Confederation, open their homes to share life stories that reveal how the personal intertwines with the political. By listening to them, we gain access to the complex experiences of women who, with tender but rebellious gestures, expand the places of enunciation in a country adverse to dissent.

Frequently after talking to another artist, Todd Anderson-Kunert found himself thinking of another question he would have liked to have asked them, but didn’t. This film is about what happened if he did ask those questions. Between 2014 and 2017, in and around Melbourne, Australia, he conversed with a selection of 31 sonic artists, each time for 30 minutes. These conversations were edited down, each time finding a new question he wished he had of asked. This question was used as the starting point for the next conversation with a completely different artist. This documentary film follows that process. The conversation engages with a variety of themes, including temporality, performance, fragility, recording, artistic development, and creative process. It also offers an insight into some of the experimental sound communities operating within Melbourne, Australia.
