Wi-do

One day, detective Incheol (Jung Chan) visits Wido. The island is high with hopes for redevelopment as it has been designated as a cultural tourism trial site. Incheol was dispatched to the island to determine the cause of Jong-gu's death who is thought to have been killed in a landslide. But from the first day of his arrival, the islanders' behavior struck Incheol as strange. They wanted him to quietly conclude the case and leave. Incheol, who would even accept dirty money to treat his wife's illness, decides to leave. That night, another case of suicide takes place and Incheol could feel that the residents' bizarre behavior and the series of accidents are not irrelevant. Blood on Méliès' Moon

France, 1890. Inventor Louis Le Prince vanishes under mysterious circumstances right after he created a device that, five years later, the Lumière Brothers will call The Cinematographer. What if they had stolen Le Prince’s idea and wacked him afterwards? The mystery remains for more than a century, until Luigi Cozzi picks up a strange book called “The Roaming Universe” in the horror museum of his pal Dario Argento. The origin of this enigmatic book troubles him. This particular science-fiction novel would have materialized during a spiritual session in modern day Rome. At the session, an old woman revealed that the key to all these mysteries comes from 1895, a time during which the Lumière Brothers had denied lending their camera to Georges Méliès for an obscure movie called "A Trip to the moon". Not only does this film actually exist, but it raises a more intriguing question. Is our world the only one, or are there parallel universes ?

The Man Walking to the River

In the haunting stillness of post-Soviet suburbia, a lone man walks with purpose — toward the river. With each heavy step across the gray, lifeless field, he carries not only his own weight, but the burdens of an entire generation. He does not speak. He does not turn back. We do not know his name. But we know where he’s going. The River awaits. A meditation on isolation, purpose, and the absurdity of existence, "Идущий к реке" captures the Slavic soul in a single low-res frame. What started as a simple clip from a local Russian TV segment became a viral icon of stoicism, despair, and meme-worthy introspection.

The People Next Door

Ordinary young couple Gemma and Richard have just bought their first home and are expecting a baby. It's all very exciting, and the couple settles in nicely to their new pad. Except for the screaming and shouting they hear at all times of the night through their walls from the house next door. Listening more closely, pregnant Gemma is convinced that she's also hearing cries and smacking noises, which she is certain are the sounds of a toddler being abused. She and Richard have seen the child just once, but not since. Feeling morally obliged to act, the couple gather as much information as possible about what's going on next door. And after social services say there's nothing to worry about, Gemma becomes increasingly obsessed and she starts to spy on them in a way that raises questions about who is actually committing the crime — Gemma's neighbours, or Gemma?
