Young biologist Marta Medved comes to the small town of Veliki Dabar to investigate the murder of a large bear, whose body has been discovered before the mayor's holiday home. Her arrival will suddenly wake up the sleepy highland town and its collection of seemingly normal residents, each with secrets of their own, including Marta's ex-husband Mauro and his agressive brother Mišel.
