After his sister, Sara, accidentally kills her threatening teacher in self-defense, Wataru makes a desperate decision to protect her. He uses an AI chatbot to generate a plan for the "perfect crime," staging the crime scene and covering up evidence based on the AI's instructions to make it look like a random homicide.

After seeing her friend’s disturbing social media posts, Riko tries to intervene to help her but fails to prevent her from dying a mysterious, violent death. Convinced there is more to the story than a suicide, Riko dives into a world of memes, influencers, and posting for attention. Right before summer vacation, a "forbidden game" is secretly played at a high school. After some students take part in it, their ordinary days begin to change, and before long, a "certain incident" occurs. Taking the situation seriously, the school brings in a counselor, Koharu, to provide mental care for the students who witnessed the incident. However, one of the students who played the "game" turns out to be Koharu's sister, Nanami. One by one, the students are drawn into bizarre phenomena.
