Perplexingly, the Americans decided to introduce Italo-American criminals into positions of power in southern Italy, such as Vito Genovese, a gangster escaping a murder rap in New York. Through the Academy of Coimbra, the documentary reproduces student life, the position of women in society, and the change in mentalities of being and being in the world. It reproduces the existing censorship and the fight against the dictatorship, the resistance to an exhausted regime, as well as the emerging contradictions of the democratic revolution. CITAC has a heritage of 50 years of experience in Coimbra. The Forgotten War: Colombia’s Battalion in Korea is a documentary that brings to light the little-known story of Colombia’s involvement in the Korean War (1950–1953). Through personal testimonies, rare archival footage, and geopolitical analysis, the film recounts how over 5,000 Colombian soldiers, organized as the Colombia Battalion No. 1, answered the United Nations’ call to support South Korea against the invasion by the North, which was backed by China and the Soviet Union.
