The relationship of Alex and Teresa has hit hard times. After 15 years of marriage, the passionate football coach and the sensitive psychoanalyst do not respect each other's needs anymore, and thus they are arguing constantly. Even a divorce seems possible, but then something unbelievable happens: After another ugly fight during a big thunderstorm, they switch bodies. Trapped, they have to play each other's roles, and chaos is bound to follow.

Heini Schoch becomes a millionaire on his birthday of all days. He mistakes his briefcase for a completely identical item. With one tiny difference: the other suitcase is stuffed with bundles of money. This money can only come from a scam, Heini concludes in a flash, nobody carries that much cash around with them. So there is very little chance that the police will be called. Heini tells his confused wife Hedy to pack her bags. They are to take the next plane out of the country so that the crooks don't find out about them. But Heini has rejoiced too soon: suddenly the police knock on the door and ask lots of "stupid" questions. Luckily, Heini's loyal friend Viktor is there to help - albeit very reluctantly. In order to distract the police, the two of them build a huge house of lies. Eventually it all comes crashing down.

Various German tourists arrive at the African vacation hotel "Leisure Lodge". Businessman Harry Weber wants to seduce his secretary Julia undisturbed, but unbeknownst to him, his wife Melanie has also arrived to seduce skier Toni. The short film "Der Rückfall in die Dekadenz" by Federico Mesina deals with the 28-year-old actor Friedrich von Rebenstiel, who has agreed to be interviewed for a film. In the style of a mockumentary, von Rebenstiel is also accompanied outside of the interview. In an ironic way, the short film attempts to break up the fiction described by Friedrich with shots from reality and at the same time show the problematic relationship between role and private person. In doing so, the initially clear boundary becomes increasingly blurred and ultimately erases the private person completely.

When their local pub is in a very dilapidated state, but the landlord has no money to renovate it, the fire department tries to help out by setting fire to it themselves, but it doesn't quite work. They look for a new object to set fire to, the supposedly empty prison. But there is only one prisoner, who is heroically rescued by Captain Kaden.
