Motu Patlu Ka Goa Dhammal

Okay, so this one’s got all the classic Motu Patlu chaos but with palm trees and beach vibes. Ghasitaram goes missing, turns out he’s been kidnapped by this goofy-looking don named Michael Pinto who looks exactly like him. Cue the identity swap, the fake vacation, and Motu losing his mind because he thinks his best friend ditched him for Goa without him. 😅 Honestly, the part where Motu starts crying about how they used to share everything — even underwear —? That hit harder than I expected. It’s silly, but also kinda sweet. The wild action, food fights, jet skis, invisible cars, and Patlu pretending to be a ghost? Pure cartoon gold. The bad guys aren’t super scary, but they’re fun to watch get wrecked. And the ending? All of them cruising along the coast, laughing together? Perfect. If you’re a fan, you’ll enjoy it. If you’re not? Still worth a watch if you need a silly, feel-good 30 minutes.

MST3K: The RiffTrax Experiments — Sting of Death

The storied history of Mystery Science Theater includes many, MANY cheap rubber monster suits... and somehow, some way, Sting of Death may have the worst so far. MSTies might recognize director William Grefé as the director behind the MST3K Season 2 experiment Wild Rebels. You'll be happy to know he made Sting of Death first, so Wild Rebels was a movie he made as an even more experienced filmmaker. As an added bonus, this movie also features the aptly titled "Do The Jellyfish" by Songwriting Hall of Fame inductee Neil Sedaka. Does this tune warrant TWO extended dance sequences? Probably not, but it is an earworm that will still be drilled into your head long after the credits roll.

Rock Bottom

Gungo is a scrawny, spoiled young caveman who has lived a life of luxury as the son of the tribal chief. In an age where only the strongest survive, he’d rather perform his “Tik-Rocks” dances than hunt or fight. But when he’s falsely accused and exiled after a plot to overthrow his father, Gungo is forced to prove himself in the brutal Caveman Games—an ancient competition where strength and bravery determine who leads. Banished to a dangerous and wild land, Gungo must now train with a group of misfits he once mocked. Together, they’ll face prehistoric perils, uncover the truth behind the conspiracy, and learn that real strength comes not from muscles, but from unity, acceptance, and the courage to lead with heart.
