The Julie Andrews Show

The Julie Andrews Show is a television special that was broadcast by NBC in November 1965. This was Andrews' first solo American TV Special, although she had previously starred in several dramatic television works (High Tor, Cinderella) and co-starred with Carol Burnett in a major special. However by November 1965 Andrews was now a major movie star with both Mary Poppins and Sound of Music still in cinemas and an Oscar already sitting on her mantelpiece. Julie's guests included Gene Kelly and The New Christy Minstrels.

A young girl was born into a noble family and lived a rich life. After her father passed away, Pin, her mother remarries to Mr. Athon Hengkul, a young businessman with stepdaughter. He always loves and cares for her. One day, her new father died. Abchit, Mr. Athon's sister do not agree with the treasure that she and her mother receive. Out of jealousy, she conspires with Athon's second son hoping to make her a wife. Meanwhile, she goes to stay with her friend Sai Samorn. Here, she meets and falls in love with Sol Thongprai, a handsome lawyer farmer.

Kamil's servant Dilber's sister Fatoş comes to the mansion with her fiancé Mıstık. Kamil falls for Fatoş as soon as he sees her. At this point, Kamil, who is already ill, suffers another crisis. He then declares that his final wish is to marry Fatoş. Fatoş, who needs money to bail out Mıstık, who has been arrested for financial reasons, agrees to marry Kamil, believing he will die soon. Kamil's surprising recovery and Mıstık's release from prison will complicate the situation further.

Hobson's Choice

Maggie Hobson (Patricia Routledge) decides to marry Willie Mossop (Michael Caine), the gifted but underpaid bootmaker in her father's shop. Despite Willie's objections, they marry and set up for themselves and, within just one year, take almost all of Henry Hobson's trade. Hobson (John Barrie), a heavy drinker, is told by his doctor that one of his daughters must return home to look after him but they all refuse apart from Maggie who, seeing her chance, agrees to help but on one condition: Willie is to take over the business, with Hobson relegated to the position of a sleeping partner with no say in the running of the shop.

Operetta star Ulrich Hansen wants to return to his original profession as a doctor and announces his engagement to Regine Röders, the daughter of an industrialist, at his farewell performance. His stage partner and former girlfriend, Ilonka, isn't about to accept his decision to marry another woman without a fight. Jealous, she hatches a plan to prevent the wedding. Ulrich and Regine marry as planned and go on their honeymoon to Venice. Ilonka follows the newlyweds to Venice with her new admirer, Gustav Säuerling, and continues to try to break them up.

Sequel to The Mouse that Roared; The Tiny Country of Grand Fenwick has a hot water problem in the castle. To get the money necessary to put in a new set of plumbing, they request foreign aid from the U.S. for Space Research. The Russians then send aid as well to show that they too are for the internationalization of space. While the grand Duke is dreaming of hot baths, their one scientist is slapping together a rocket. The U.S. and Soviets get wind of the impending launch and try and beat them to the moon.

Director Paul Borg (Ebbe Langberg) neglects his young, beautiful wife Marianne (Ghita Nørby). He even forget their wedding day, in favor of a new fast sports car, a beautiful silver-gray Jaguar. During his drive, he runs out of gas. A young lady Laura Lublinski (Hanne Borchsenius), helps him and he takes an innocent flirtation with her. When Marianne learns this, she moves home and dump into an artist community with Jenny (Bodil Steen), Ovengaden of water 52 in Christianshavn. Here she takes the unrepentant Don Juan, Mario (Dario Campeotto) and the guitar-playing Eigil (Dirch compatible).
