Eine fast perfekte Scheidung

The comedy “Ein fast perfekter Seitensprung” was not only successful, it was really well-done. The first sequel is, as most sequels, less attractive. As the charming mix of Germans and Austrians itself wasn't new and interesting any more, Schwabenitzky had to concentrate more on the less terrific elements. He emphasised the character-clichés and made up a more complex story, in order to bring down as many of the characters from the first film as possible. This sequel is only worth watching if you're a great fan of the first part. Actually, not even then.

Anne Roumanoff : Complètement Roumanoff

Anne Roumanoff was 22 years old, with a degree in political science under her belt and ten years of theater experience behind her when she presented her first one-woman show at the Théâtre des Blancs Manteaux. That was in the late 1980s. Ten years later, after a few forays into theater, television, film, and radio, the bubbly brunette took over the legendary Olympia theater for three days with a show featuring her greatest hits, plus a few new pieces. Lighthearted or ironic, her sketches are inspired by women, all women, young and old, unemployed or successful, exquisite or exasperating—or both at the same time.

Tom Green: Tonsil Hockey

Tom Green once again delivers comedy that foams at the mouth with his second salivating release. Last spring's Something Smells Funny was the surprise salvo of the season and this one should be no different. Since then Canada's favorite son, whose U.S. cable show now draws more than two million viewers a week, has signed a movie deal with a major Hollywood studio and has graced the covers and insides of every hip publication and TV talk show. Tonsil Hockey is packed with outrageous full frontal assaults as Tom sticks his tongue way out there at and into our cozy preconceptions and going so far as to play tonsil hockey with sidekick Glenn Humplik. But, if you don't like this jam, just get the puck outta here!

Alle Jahre wieder

Even on Christmas Eve, Heinz Becker's wife Hilde and son Stefan are not granted any peace and quiet, as their head of the family with the Batschkapp and the eternally chattering mouth turns the celebration of love into a less than contemplative horror trip for the whole family. Even the question of whether sausages should be served hot or cold with the potato salad leads to disputes under the Christmas tree - which Heinz can only force into balance with brute force. When the Christmas tree figure remains untraceable, the oven develops volcanic heat and mother Hilde completes the chaos with her unconditional desire for harmony, Heinz is proven right once again when he says: "Christmas is a matter of nerves".
