He grabs the surprisingly large sum of money and lands in Bangkok with only the clothes on his back. Thailand is so captivating that it makes him forget his life in Japan. After spending a fun night with May, a street girl, he ends up traveling to Chiang Rai with May and her friend Fong. A Japanese man who barely speaks the language and two women, each with their own agendas, set off on their journey north.

This story is about “Chan Dai Lek” (main character) who lost his parents when he was small and then being brought up and been taught in Kung Fu by the Beggar legend “Cheong Dai Hap” to help those who are poor and weak. As Dai Lek grows up, he made some beggar friends who are in difficulties, namely “Da Zhi” and “Satay” , also the daughter of the head gangster “Guo Fei” and they have built a very good rapport. Together, they have living the same point of view in life that “Nothing is impossible”. On the other hand, there is a beggar group from “Lan Jie Bang” which discovered the great abilities of Dai Lek and decided to make him to become the leader of the group. Hence, he is the beggar hero.
